“If you build it, they will come.” That advice may have worked for Kevin Costner’s character in Field of Dreams, but it rarely works for a blog.
If you are like most of our clients, you put a lot of time and effort into researching and writing your blog posts.
You want to make sure that someone sees your work! Don’t post them once and never use the content again.
3 Easy Ways to Promote Your Blog
Quote Yourself
One of the easiest ways to make the most out of a blog post is to quote yourself.
Take key quotes and tips from your blog posts and schedule them across your social media platforms. Financial author and radio host, Dave Ramsey, uses quotes regularly across his social media platforms to connect with fans.
By including links to blog posts, you’ll make it easy for people to find your content that they can read and want to share.
Make Beautiful Images
People love short snippets of impactful text, especially when they are on beautiful images! Include meaningful quotes or statistics from your blog on pictures, and you’ve got a winner.
American Express uses amazing photography to express itself. Don’t have an AmEx-sized budget? I love the free online image tools Canva and Pablo. And many of their images are free!
Create an Infographic
Infographics are 30 times more likely to be read than text posts.
Mint uses simple infographics regularly in its social media posts.
Look fancy? Believe me. They aren’t hard to make! (I can even do it, and I am no designer!) Use Canva or Piktochart to simplify the process. Once you’ve made it, share away.
