Equitable Housing: The City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Housing Authority have been awarded a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help transform and revitalize Mill Creek.

Ranking: Bizinsure’s Gen Z IRL Tech Index ranked Huntsville #1 in Alabama for new grads looking to start their career in tech. Huntsville ranked #6 nationally alongside the likes of tech giants like Austin and Seattle. In Huntsville, Bizinsure found a median salary of  $106k for tech jobs. HSV also was one of the few out of 51 cities with a median salary over $100K.

Defense

Awarded: NASA has awarded Lockheed Martin the contract to develop and build the Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite constellation for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This project, encompassing an initial three spacecraft with options for four additional ones, carries a total potential value of $2.27 billion.
