Travel: Huntsville International Airport broke a record for travel in 2023, with more than 1.47 million passengers passing through the airport last year, just edging out a mark of 1.445 million set in 2019.

Development: Construction on Front Row, a major downtown Huntsville development, is expected to begin this month. The $115 million in construction financing has been secured for the mixed-use development across from the Von Braun Center on Clinton Avenue.

Legislative Update: The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon at the Jackson Center for North Alabama Legislators. Legislators who spoke included Alabama State Senator Arthur Orr, Alabama State Senator Steve Livingston, Senate Majority Leader, and Alabama State Representative Rex Reynolds.
