In high school, Laurie’s mom had her take an aptitude test that said marketing would be a good career choice.
A 4-year degree taught her that marketing majors learn a lot of theory but not much practical knowledge. However, after experiencing business development and leadership roles across various industries, it turned out that Laurie is, in fact, fantastic at marketing.
Way to go, Mom.
She also is a passionate community volunteer, enjoys singing too loud in the car, and traveling with her family.
