Development

Expansion: Ohio-based Total Quality Logistics (TQL) has opened a new office in Huntsville with plans to create 100 new jobs. TQL, the second-largest freight brokerage in North America, will have offices in Bradford Office Park, within Cummings Research Park.

Education

Collaboration: The University of Alabama in Huntsville announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation and Integration Center (AMIIC), a Huntsville nonprofit and subsidiary of the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM). AMIIC is committed to advancing regional technology through specialized manufacturing solutions, collaborative innovation, seamless technology integration, and workforce development. The agreement will enable UAH students to use AMIIC laboratory space and advanced manufacturing equipment.
