Awarded: NASA announced the selection of three teams tasked with developing new Lunar Terrain Vehicles. One team, the Lunar Dawn consortium, is led by Lunar Outpost and features a unique lineup of partners led by Lockheed Martin. NASA’s investment in the LTV will total up to $4.6 billion and underscores Huntsville’s ongoing role in shaping the future of space exploration.

Awarded: The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a $756 million contract to enhance the nation’s ground-based hypersonic weapon system, the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). This contract will provide the Army with additional LRHW battery equipment, systems and software engineering support, and comprehensive logistics solutions.
